The Bajau – or Bajo [and other spellings!] – are also known as “sea gypsies” – ace fisherfolk, some with astonishing ability for swimming/diving, with only minimal gear. This village is Kampung Bajo Sangkuang – on Bacan Island, Maluku, Indonesia.
