Hong Kong Based English Language Copywriter
Do you need well written, original copy, or improvements to English text that has been translated from Chinese? If so, I can help.
I'm a skilled English-language copywriter, with extensive experience in writing, editing and proofreading materials spanning corporate brochures, speeches, adverts, feature articles, video scripts, press releases and websites.
Based in Hong Kong, I work for clients spanning media publications, public relations companies, corporations, SMEs and government departments. They include non-governmental organisations, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Prudential Group and, through public relations companies, the Macao Government, Hewlett Packard, Autodesk, Accenture, Oracle, Websense, the MTR Corporation and SAS.

You can benefit from my experience in covering a broad spectrum of subjects, with my PhD in Physical Chemistry from Cambridge University giving me a particular aptitude for technical issues.
With my strong background in writing for books, and magazines including Discovery, Reader's Digest and Wildlife Conservation, I can write copy that appeals to a range of audiences - including your customers and potential customers.
I can write website copy that not only appeals to your readers, but also to search engines. Plus, I can offer tips on search engine optimisation (SEO), boosting the chances your website will outperform the competition, and reach your intended audience.
Rates vary according to projects. For writing, you can expect around HK$3 - HK$8 per word. For proofreading and editing, HK$0.5 per word.
Depending on the nature of the project, it may be best to charge by the hour. My rates per hour are:
Super-Premium: HK$588/hr; Premium: HK$480/hr; Standard: HK$380/hr.
If you wish to discuss potential projects, please contact me by email, or tel 96201824.
