Bird flu vaccine tests underway in St. Petersburg

Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences Influenza Research Institute Oleg Kiselyov has voluntary participated in tests of a bird flu vaccine.

More than 50 people, including attendees of the Makarov Sea Academy, employees of the influenza institute and students of medical universities participated in the tests.

Institute experts plan to obtain the first results of the effect of the vaccine in a fortnight's time
