To me this sounds like you haven’t got much of a handle on avian influenza or influenza in general.
Yes, there are many hypotheses out there and one must exercise caution when reading someones opinion.
The transmission of avian influenza has many routes, nevertheless it is there, always has circulated in wild birds as a naturaly occuring virus, and always will.
